In this fantasy film project which was adapted from the Michael Ende novel I helped developing the look of the different worlds, got quotes for the various set-builds and was responsible for the chinese influenced sets of the Mandala city.

This, originally planned to be a big composite studio set, then became an almost entirely digital set. So I created the entire ‘Mandala’ city digitally and during the production process liased with the VFX department, providing texture references, architectural detail and overall proportion.
